Time of establishment:1959.This year marks the 60th anniversary of IDB and the 10th anniversary of China's entry into IDB.
Member States:48,28 in Latin America and 20 in other regions,including the United States,Britain,Germany,France,Japan and other major economies in the world.
China is the 48th member of IDB and the 3rd member from East Asia after Japan and South Korea.
What is the annual meeting of IDB?
IDB Council holds its annual meeting,which is hosted by each member in turn.
Finance ministers or central bank governors of its member countries will attend the meeting.
The meeting will center on the economic and financial situation in Latin American and the world,development strategy and IDB's business strategy.
