然而目前看来，特朗普不仅在包括医改、税改等关键性的承诺上毫无进展，而且在某些关键问题的立场上甚至出现大逆转。
在周三接受《华尔街日报》采访时，这位曾经的“非主流总统”在包括美元利率、中国外汇政策等核心政策问题上作出与竞选承诺大相径庭的表态，立场越来越向主流政治家靠近。
移民政策
特朗普“百日计划”承诺，遣返大于两百万的非法移民罪犯。倘若对方国家不愿意接收， 则取消对方国家的签证，还表示将暂停从有恐怖主义倾向的、且移民审查失效的国家接受移民，且所有来美国的移民必须接受极端审查。
特朗普上台后推出“禁穆令”，两次遇阻。夏威夷的联邦法官德里克·沃森(Derrick Watson)当地时间周三(3月30日)宣布，对特朗普禁穆令的“临时限制令”转为“初步禁制令”，无限期延长移民禁令的暂停时间。
医疗改革
特朗普承诺撤销和替换奥巴马医保Obamacare法案。然而上个月，众议院共和党议员未能获得足够支持票以通过其医改法案，目前医改已经搁置。
税收改革
特朗普承诺承诺将减免中产阶级和其他多数美国人的税收，将通过减税和简化税法使得GDP增速达到4%、产生两千五百万个新工作的经济计划。按照特朗普税改计划，中产将得到最大的税务减免，一个两个孩子的中产家庭会有35%的税务减免，商业税率会从35%减少到15%。
然而截止目前，税改还未被提上特朗普的议事日程。
外交政策
在叙利亚问题上，特朗普的立场发生了180度大转弯。特朗普此前多次呼吁时任总统奥巴马不要对当年的化学武器袭击事件采取军事行动，并警告称，攻打叙利亚只会给美国带来麻烦。但就在上周，特朗普一声令下，美军舰船向叙利亚一军用机场发射了59枚战斧式巡航导弹。
关于美联储
特朗普曾在竞选中攻击美联储主席耶伦，但在昨天接受《华尔街日报》采访时，他表示并不反对美联储主席耶伦在明年2月任期满后连任，但目前做任何决定都为时尚早。他还表示喜欢低利率环境。
关于中国汇率
特朗普在竞选中承诺，一上任就会将中国列为汇率操纵国。据美国《华尔街日报》昨日报道，美国总统特朗普当天表示，美国政府不会在本周即将发布的一份报告中将中国列为“汇率操纵国”。

Reforms will also include cutting the red tape at the FDA: there are over 4,000 drugs awaiting approval, and we especially want to speed the approval of life-saving medications.
